“I found an extraordinary sense of mission, purpose and comradery among American troops during this deployment. I will carry that with me for years to come and continue to pray for the safety of my colleagues in harm’s way.
I want to thank my dedicated staff for their management and operation of both my district and State House offices in my absence. My family and I also want to express our deepest thanks and appreciation to everyone who offered their support and prayers during my deployment. While being away is never easy, I found comfort in knowing that my friends, colleagues and community always stood behind me and my family. I look forward to rejoining my staff and my legislative colleagues to continue working on behalf of the remarkable residents of the 12th Worcester District.”
